Chalkboard Cheat Sheet...Dig It or Ditch It?

We cannot all be natural chefs in the kitchen and automatically know or remember how many teaspoons are in a tablespoon, or how many cups are in a pint.   This innovative homeowner created a chalkboard cheat sheet on the back of a cabinet door to help remember measuring equivalents and as an added bonus, they added hooks to keep their measuring cups and spoons organized and easy to find.   What do you think?  Do you "dig it or ditch it"?

Eastlake Elementary 5K & 1 Mile Run/Walk

Dust off your tennis shoes, it's time to put them to good use!  Eastlake Elementary is hosting a 5K & 1 Mile Run/Walk to help support Eastlake programs and technology.  The run/walk will kick off at the Eastlake School back field at 6:00pm on Monday, May 14th.  Dinner is available for purchase.   For more information, click on www.runeastlake.com.

Springhouse Village Coming to Daybreak

Dig It or Ditch It?

As building a new home often goes, people sometimes wait to finish their basements until after they have lived in the house for a few years. Be it a budget constraint or the homeowners choice to do more custom finishes than the builder will allow, basements often do not have the same feel as the rest of the house.  Check out this basement with an antique bar, complete with original stained glass windows, old slot machine and cash register! Can you imagine trying to get that down the stairs?  This basement is definitely ready to host some fun game nights...but do you dig it or ditch it?
