Daybreak residents definitely know how to "accessorize" their yards to create a truly unique Halloween atmosphere.  Bury a few bones and sculls, scatter some pumpkins, sneak a kiss of death, bubble a potion or two, cast a spell, plant a cemetery full of headstones, and then come dark, watch out!  Not only do these yards light up, but they literally come to life with moving parts and pieces!  We have some amazing talent in our community!  Take a look at a few of the yards we captured during the daytime and be sure to check out the Daybreak Haunts Facebook page for updates and a map of registered scary yards!

New elementary school has been named.   At first glance, I thought they were talking about a Retirement Community.  The name announced was Golden Fields.    Others recalled Sting's song Fields of Gold: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLVq0IAzh1A

The Elementary is located in the north part of Daybreak by 10200 S.   Why did they name it Golden Fields?    A very loved principal in the area that strives hard to do what is best for the children wrote a letter of recommendation regarding the name.   Some citizens were bummed.  They were hoping for it to be named Split Rock (after the road its located on) or Creekside or Brookside which represent parts of Daybreak.    What we do know....is it will be awesome. A great principal and staff and great students…

Highland Park Village - Coming 2017

Its coming soon! Highland Park is going to be the first village that crosses West over the Mountain View Corridor.

This is pretty exciting as people that live here will have awesome access to the Corridor/Trax/Shopping! This village is also slated to have its very own Community Pool and Cafe. As always in developments, things that aren't built can change so we live by the motto.....nothing is set in stone until it's built.

The builders slated for this community will be Sego, Destination, David Weekley, Holmes Homes, and Fieldstone Homes. The new model home village should have about 15 homes that the public can tour and check out. Sego and Destination will be building townhomes while the biggest lots up to .17 acre will be Fieldstone homes or…
