Back when UtahDave still had most of his hair, and Daybreak was quite a bit smaller—Dave starred in his famous Daybreak "infomercial." It's our best guess whether he was reading off of a teleprompter or his passionate words come straight from the heart...

 

And where we ended up!

We decided when it was time to do a new Daybreak commercial, why not strike UtahDave from it and put in his cute kids instead! The end result was much more entertaining we think. How about you?

 Craving a chai tea, pastry, or something more substantial like a salad or sandwich, but don't feel like driving through road construction to get it?   Look no further!  Biscotts Bakery & Cafe is open for business in Daybreak's newest village, Highland Park.   Grab your laptop, a good book, or the family dog and head on over.  Biscotts is dog friendly, offers free wifi, a kid's menu, and has lots of seating options to linger for an hour or two.   Good luck focusing on your book though, Biscotts' food is so yummy and their interior is so innovative that it's hard to concentrate on anything but their amazing food and decor! In addition to their daily menu items, Biscotts offers catering for various events and is open from 9am-9pm daily; closed Tuesdays.

Daybreak residents definitely know how to "accessorize" their yards to create a truly unique Halloween atmosphere.  Bury a few bones and sculls, scatter some pumpkins, sneak a kiss of death, bubble a potion or two, cast a spell, plant a cemetery full of headstones, and then come dark, watch out!  Not only do these yards light up, but they literally come to life with moving parts and pieces!  We have some amazing talent in our community!  Take a look at a few of the yards we captured during the daytime and be sure to check out the Daybreak Haunts Facebook page for updates and a map of registered scary yards!  

                            

The time has come for the newest pool in Daybreak: right next to the Daybreak Community Center! The plan for construction is finished and the pool will be completed by Memorial Day, 2018.

The size of the pool makes it the biggest in Daybreak with both a family and a lap area of the pool. As shown below, the family pool with be 1,510 sq. feet and the lap pool will be 3,490 sq. feet and will feature six lanes of swimming.
In addition to the lanes of swimming, the lap pool will accommodate a variety of recreational opportunities. A program schedule will be created to allow time for additional activities including water aerobics and open swim.

Its coming soon! Highland Park is going to be the first village that crosses West over the Mountain View Corridor.

This is pretty exciting as people that live here will have awesome access to the Corridor/Trax/Shopping! This village is also slated to have its very own Community Pool and Cafe.
