The number of buyers looking at homes is increasing faster than the number of sellers. What does that mean? Supply levels remain tight, while the demand steadily increases. With limited inventory, the growing number of buyers is creating a highly competitive market.

West Jordan ranked 8th in the Nation!

Livability.com recently compiled a list of the top-10 soccer cities in the U.S. Our own, WEST JORDAN was ranked number 8! For all you soccer mom's out there, West Jordan is the place to be.

Even if you're not a big soccer fan, this offers great insight into the quality of life West Jordan has to offer. Where Will You Be? When the Market Turns

A new study published by The Demand Institute revealed some exciting news for the housing market. According to this report the housing market has finally turned the corner. The report predicts that average home prices will increase by 1% during the second half of 2012. They also predict that by 2014 home prices will have increased by as much as 2.5%. Then from 2015 to 2017 home prices will increase 3-4% each year!

This is great news for home owners as their home values start to increase again. However, home buyers will see these once-in-a-lifetime opportunities disappearing before their eyes. Mortgage rates are still low, in fact FHA 30-year loans just reached a new all-time low of 3.75%. Carchitecture House

As many of you know I have a Facebook Photo album which highlights interesting architecture and home decor. This week's post features a home inspired by the original Beetle produced by Porsche in 1935. The builder is 35 year old Markus Voglreiter and he built his car-home in 2003.

The structure is 3-stories and has 900 square feet of living space. Markus purchased the corner lot on the border of a nature preserve in Gnigl, Austria. When they purchased it there was already a home on the lot with an adjacent garden plot. Markus wanted to 'renovate' and 'update' the house and structure. During the process he decided to build his car-house extension on the adjacent garden plot. Here is an early concept design:
