Daybreak is one of our favorite places to sell homes! In fact many of our Realtors not only specialize in the area but they also live in Daybreak. The Daybreak community was ranked as one of the bestselling master planned communities in the United States for 2015 by real estate advisory firm RCLCO (Robert Charles Lesser & Co., LLC) and John Burns Real Estate Consulting.
In 2015, 415 homes were sold in Daybreak, which resulted in a 23 percent increase over 2014. Dave Robison and Julie Holmes were the Top New Realtor Home Sales in Daybreak for 2015. Since the beginning of January 2016, an amazing 67 homes have been sold. We are off to a robust start this year!

According to the National Association of Realtors, repeat business accounted for a median 21 percent of real estate agent activity in 2015. The number is higher for those with more experience. Realtors who have been in the business 16 years or more reported that repeat business was 40 percent of their activity. Have you used your realtor more than once? What was it that made you go back? At the Garden Park clubhouse on Friday, February 26th from 7-9pm there's going to be a Winter Wine-derland! For those 21 and older you can come and enjoy hors d'oeuvres, wine, and great company. Tickets are $12/person and you can call the DCC to check and see if there are spots left.
Other things to look forward to are Jazz Night (Feb 25th), Masquerade Ball (March 5th), Leprechaun Hunt (March 14th) and Spring Hullaballoo (March 26th).
Another important reminder is lake safety. The Daybreak lake is beautiful and frozen, but don't make the mistake of thinking that it's solid! It's extremely dangerous to venture out onto the lake for any reason so make sure that you keep yourself and your loved ones…
