This weekend we will be showcasing the active lifestyle opportunities in Daybreak at the Utah Sports, Health, & Fitness Expo! Many people spend more time GOing to the gym than they do BEing at the gym. Other spend just as much time traveling to their favorite activities, only to discover they don’t have time to really enjoy them. That’s why Daybreak maximizes active opportunities with their 5-minute rule, and extensive opportunities.

Live Where you Play

Here are just some of the ways Living in Daybreak helps you maintain a healthy lifestyle:

Daybreak has 22 miles of trails!

These trails surround, connect, and envelope the entire community. That means that wherever you are in Daybreak, you can quickly walk, bike, or skate to your activity track.

Daybreak has 250 acres of parks!

Also peppered throughout the community are a variety of parks. In fact, these parks are positioned with the 5-minute rule in mind. That means that every home in Daybreak is within 5 minutes of a park. If you struggle exercising because you can’t get away from the kids, you can bring them to one of the many parks and jog along the trails while keeping an eye on them. In the colder months you can even utilize this open space for sledding, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing.

67 acre lake

Many people who enjoy outdoor water activities like fishing and boating have to travel extensively to play. That is not the case for Daybreak residents. The Oquirrh lake is central to Daybreak and provides opportunities for paddle-boarding, kayaking, angling, and building sand castles on the beach. There are even complimentary boat checkouts for Daybreak residents. If you really enjoy Lake Life check out Daybreak’s latest community: Lake Village

71% of Students walk/bike to school

If you find it important to keep your kids active you’ll be thrilled to know that 71% of students walk or bike to school. There are also plenty of outdoor activities designed to keep them active as well.
