Dig It or Ditch It?

With so many new bathroom products on the market today, it really is possible to design a master bathroom of your dreams.   The sleek and contemporary retreat with marble floors, white or gray cabinetry, chrome (now gold) fixtures, and gray walls, seems to be the latest trend.   However, some still prefer a more traditional feel with furniture style cabinetry, oil rubbed bronze fixtures, travertine or slate floors, and dark granite countertops. With shiplap still finding its way into homes, some may design a more modern farmhouse bathroom with shiplap or subway tile walls, patterned tile floor, and natural wood cabinetry.

This master bathroom features a little of all styles with the contemporary look of marble, traditional earth-toned tile flooring, and a hint of farmhouse style with subway and accent tiles.  Do they compliment or contrast one another...do you "Dig it or Ditch it"?
