With the kids getting out of school and the weather warming up, there is no shortage of fun events and things to do this summer. To make things even better, you don't have to go far from home to enjoy the summertime with the family.

With concerts at SoDa row every Friday and Saturday night, grab a blanket and spend a beautiful summers night listening to fresh music.

Join local residents on Saturday June 17th for Millie's Princess Run & Festival in a fundraiser and carnival for kids fighting pediatric cancer.

Daybreak's annual Lakeside Luau on June 24th is always one of the highlights of the summer. Enjoy the sights, sounds, and flavors of the Hawaiian Islands in a jam packed night with hula and fire dancers, amazing food, and paddle boards, this isn't an event to miss!

On Saturday July 8th, Slide the City is coming to Daybreak! Bring the kids and slide down the nearly 3 football field length slip-n-slide!

There will also be a number of mini summer camps for your kids to enjoy. The first starts on July 10th called "Explorer's Club Summer Camp - Fizz Bang Boom" has your kids making sweet explosions to awesome chemical reactions in a fun creative environment. It'll be a fun filled week will excite and entice all kids from 6-12 and is the first of several throughout the summer.

Utah Dave - Neighborhood ExpertUtah Dave - Daybreak Neighboorhood Expert and Local Resident

My friends nicknamed me Utah Dave in high school because they said it didn't matter where we went in Utah, I would know how to get there and who we needed to talk to. The name sticks today as UtahDave has formed into a professional real estate network of Neighborhood Experts all across the state. I live in Daybreak with my wife and 4 amazing children. I enjoy dancing (which is how I met my wife Dawn) as well as traveling, coaching, and learning.
